A non-profitable organization, the Children’s Hope Project Initiative Inc, is expected to land in Liberia shortly with supplies of essential items worth over 1 million Liberian dollars for “orphans” in the country.
The organization, with headquarters in the United States of America said, since it establishment it has been fighting for the general welfare of Liberian children, most of whom were affected by the civil war.
A dispatch from the organization’s public relations office based in New Delhi, India said “The Children Hope Project Initiative Inc. is hoping to provide a fun and nurturing environment for children in tragic situation by creating loving homes, establishing emotional behavioral intervention services and providing quality educational resources.”
The release further said that every year the organization organizes series of activities gear towards galvanizing resources for onward transmission to the children of Liberia: “For this year, we are planning a trip to Liberia in December; we hope that Liberians will be able to help us in this initiative. We have collected over 1 million Liberian dollars worth of essential items for onward distribution; we need your support because without you, we cannot make it,” the organization president and founder, Bendu Benson, said in an interview.
